Polette Sunnies + INSTAGRAM GIVEAWAY

A couple of months ago I was introduced to the French eyewear brand Polette. Polette lies on the idea of being the only intermediate between the factory and the customer: "The frames and lenses are provided straight from the workshops, therefore there is no stock, nor intermediates to high margins." With their motto "Do it Different" and with their young dynamic staff, they offer to the public a "massive selection of frames and lenses provided by their own companies." The idea of the brand is to put an end to the monopole of optics and that is why their eyewear is high quality but at the same time on lower prices.

But today, while I was putting on my weakly homemade hair mask, I decided to make a "Favorite Hair Products" post for you guys. The products that I will be showing are not all of the products I use but are  the ones that I've found most effective.

GRAMMYS 2015: Best dressed, worst dressed and best makeup

It's been a while since my last post but the Grammys were last night and I just couldn't not share with you my personal favorites for the best dressed and best makeup categories. As well as some of the worst dressed, in my opinion. 

So lets start with best dressed and my number one favorite for the night:

She looked absolutely stunning in a long silver dress and with her new super short haircut. She looks like a jewel that has come to life.

LUSH "Mask of Magnaminty" Face Mask (Review)

Today I will talk about "Mask of Magnaminty" by LUSH Cosmetics. I've been using it for the past two months and I think it's high time I finally talk about it. 

I purchased it because a dear friend of mine told me that it takes great care of blackheads and it also gives the skin a gentle scrub. 

LUSH "Henna and Jasmine" Hair Mask (Review)

The "Henna and Jasmine" hair mask helps improving the hair's condition. The exotic blend of nutritious oils and natural butters help improve the tensile strength. It is very good for the colder and more humid days when your hair is fluffy and untamed and somehow it seems to have a mind of it's own. It is definitely one of my favorite hair masks for now!
You have to cover your dry hair (whole hair plus the roots) with a thick coat of the product and leave it for at least twenty minutes  but I personally stay at least an hour and I think that the more you do, the better. It doesn't have any harsh chemicals in it so even if you, say, sleep with it, it will not damage your hair at all.
This mask is created for all hair types but it particularly suits dark or red hair. A regular treatment with it will stop frizzy, curly hair from drying out. It is really good for unnatural blondes as well because bleached hair gets dry and with split ends a lot faster than usual.
The mask has a red henna infusion which gives shine to the hair and enhances the natural highlights as well.

Маската "Henna and Jasmine" подобрява състоянието на косата. Екозтичната комбинация от натурални масла спомага за здравината на косъма. Много е хубава за по-студените и влажни дни, когати косата Ви е неконтрулируема. Тази маска определено е една от любимите ми за сега!
Трябва да покриете плътно косата си (цялата коса, плюс корените) с продукта и да го оставите за поне двадесет минути. Аз лично я оставям за поне един час, като смятам, че колкото по-дълго време я оставите - толкова по-добре. В продукта няма тежки химикали, така че дори и да преспите с маската няма да Ви се увреди косата по никакъв начин.
Тази маска е създадена за всеки тип коса, но най-вече за тъмни и червени коси. Постоянно третиране на косата с тази маска ще предотврати изсушаването на косата, ще й придаде блясък и по-добър, гладък вид. Също така е много полезна за неестествени блондинки, тъй като изрусяваната коса изсъхва и започва да цъфти много по-бързо от обикновено.
В маската има червена къна, която придава блясък на косата и подслва натуралните отблясъци.

Velour Liquid Lipstick in 'REDRUM' by Jeffree Star Cosmetics (Review)

Today I will be reviewing Jeffree Star's Velour Liquid Lipstick in the shade 'REDRUM'.
Jeffree Star is an American model, fashion designer, DJ, singer-songwriter and makeup artist.
He now has a cosmetic line called Jeffree Star Cosmetics and the three Velour Liquid Lipsticks in 'REDRUM', 'Prom Queen' and 'I'm Royalty' are the first lipsticks from his collection. He launched them on Black Friday this year and I could not resist the pre-orders. They are liquid to matte lipsticks, vegan and cruelty-free.

Every season I have a bunch of stuff that I want to get and I like making these wishlist here. So this is my Winter 2014/2015 wishlist so far:

I adore every bit of this outfit- the cat eye glasses, fluffy top, the rubber, pleated skirt made by Prototype 23 and, of course, the sexy Berkley T-Strap leather high heels. What can I say, Michael Kors knows how to please a woman.

As it is said in MAC's official website: "The Mineralize Skinfinish Powder is a luxorious velvet-soft powder with high-frost metallic finish. Smoothes on: adding buffed-up highlights to the cheeks and brows, or an overall ultra-deluxe polish to the face."
In this post I will tell you what I think about the highlighting powder, show you swatches on my hand and pictures of how it stays on my cheeks as well.

The one that I am using (and loving) is "Soft & Gentle" and here is how it looks:

"Seanik" shampoo by LUSH Cosmetics (Review)

Before I start my review I would like to introduce LUSH cosmetics to those of you who don't know about them. They are a cosmetics company that uses only natural preservatives like salt, honey and clay so they can keep their products fresh longer. Their products also have no parabens or synthetic preservatives.
So, now that I have said a little bit about the company, I want to introduce you to only one of their many shampoos, called "Seanik". It is a shampoo with sea salt, seaweed and lemon that leaves the hair voluminous and shiny.  I have been using it for about two months and I decided that it is time I let you know what I think about it.
This is how the product looks:

I can't exactly tell what it smells like but it is nice and fresh.
It cleans my hair very well and keeps it fresh during the week, until I have to wash it again.
It foams a lot so you don't need a lot of it (and I have long hair for which I usually need more product)
The employee from LUSH told me that I will be able to wash my hair with one bar about eighty times. I haven't been counting how many times I have washed my hair with it but I have been using it for two months and there is still a lot left.
Seanik has to make your hair more voluminous but it didn't work for me that way. Even if I have a bit more volume right after I wash it, it falls down quickly. I think that it is like that because my hair is long, thick and all in one length, which makes it heavier and less voluminous.
I am a blonde and because of the sea salt and lemon in the shampoo it is harder to comb my hair right after I've washed it, when it's still wet. So I would suggest that blondes always use a conditioner and a detangling hair spray.

Ingredients: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) Extract, Fragrance (Parfum), Algae, Sodium Chloride, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Acacia Decurrens Flower Extract, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Orange) Flower Water, Jasminum Grandiflorum (Jasmine) Flower Extract and Sodium Cocoamphoacetate. 


My overall impression of Seanik is very good. I definitely want to try other shampoos by LUSH.

Преди да започна с ревюто си бих искала да представя LUSH Cosmetics на тези, които не знаят за тях. Те са козметична фирма, която използва само натурални  консерванти, като сол, мед и хума, с които успяват да задържат продуктите си свежи по-дълго време. В продуктите им няма парабени и синтетични консерванти.
И сега, след като съм казала малко за фирмата, искам да Ви представя един от многото им шампоани, наричащ се "Seanik". В него има морска сол, водорасли и лимон, които правят косата лъскава и обемна. Използвам шампоана от вече два месеца и реших, че е време да споделя с Вас какво мисля за него.
Ето как изглежда:

Не мога да опиша на какво точно мирише, но е свежо и приятно. 

Измива косата ми много добре и я поддържа свежа през седмицата, докато не дойде време за следващо измиване.

Пяни се много, така че не трябва да се използва много от него (а аз имам дълга коса, за която обикновено ми се налага да нанасям повече продукт)

Продавачът в магазина на LUSH ми каза, че ще мога да използвам този шампоан поне осемдесет пъти. Не съм отброявала колко пъти съм си мила косата с него, но го използвам от два месеца, а остава още много от него. 

Seanik би трябвало да направи косата обемна, което при мен не се получи особено. Дори и да имам обем веднага след като я измия, то пада бързо. Дължа това на факта, че косата ми е дълга, гъста и без етажи, което я прави по-тежка и без много обем.
Аз съм с руса коса и заради морската сол и лимона в шампоана имам проблеми със сресването на косата си веднага след баня, докато е все още мокра. За това предлагам на всеки с руса коса, който използва този шампоан, да нанася балсам за коса след това и дори спрей за лесно разресване.

Цялостното ми впечатление от Seanik е много добро. Със сигурност бих искала да опитам и другите шампоани на LUSH.
